베르제브-Crown 

베르제브의 첫번째 EP앨범 "Take the Crown"은 베르제브 음악의 시작을 알리는 신호탄이자 축포이다. 넓은 스펙트럼의 장르들 위에서 그들은 별과 우주와 신을 이야기하고 있다.

 

탄생과 시작과 출발을 이야기하고 있다. 다년간 솔로 뮤지션으로 활동해온 메인 아티스트 윤해찬의 내공있는 기본기와 가사들이 음악감독과 솔로 프로듀서로서 활동하고 있는 Chillobey의 힙합을 기반으로 한 실험적인 사운드들 위에 잘 안착해 있다.

그들은 이 앨범에서 예술적 독창성을 보여주고 있지만, '우린 남과 다르다'는 예술성에 매몰되지는 않았다. 그들은 그저 솔직하게 모든 트랙에서 일관적으로 희망과 미래에 대한 이야기를 하고있다. 우리의 젊음이 어디까지 비상할지 지켜보라는 듯한 Take the Crown은 트렌드에 전도된 의미없는 후크송들의 홍수 속에서 원석처럼 빛을 발하는 앨범이 될 것이다.

첫번째 곡이자 타이틀 곡 Crown은 퓨쳐리스틱한 사운드로 이루어진 Liquid DnB와 랩이 융합된 실험적인 장르를 개척하려하였다. DnB의 빠른 템포에 맞춰 강력하게 쪼개지는 밀도 높은 랩은 비트의 미래적인 감각을 이신理神적이고 우주적인 언어로 풀어내고 있으면서도 동시에 미래와, 소망의 에너지를 이야기하고 있기에 매우 직관적으로 다가온다.
