십 년 전 접했던 미국의 인디씬은 저에게 엄청난 충격이었습니다. 그전부터 음악을 좋아해 유명 락 밴드들의 음반을 사고 기타를 배우며 락스타라는 아이콘들을 선망해왔지만, 미국에서 접했던 인디씬은 전혀 다르고 느껴보지 못한 새로운 감정을 불러일으켰습니다.

 

드림팝과 슈게이즈라는 장르는 제 감성과 라이프스타일을 형성했다고 할 수 있을 정도로 많은 영향을 끼쳤고 그것이 제 음악까지 이어진 장르입니다. 구체화되지 않았던 내면의 감정과 생각들이 이런 음악을 들으면서 점점 저의 내면을 이해할 수 있게 되었고 저도 조금씩 음악을 만들어보기 시작하여 만들어낸 결과물이 이 음반입니다.

스물하나부터 스물다섯까지 사랑과 사람에 관한 기록들이며 정서적/음악적 성장의 과정으로, 다음 단계로 넘어가기 위한 저의 습작 같은 음반입니다.
