무인도에 표류한 사람에게 가치있는 것은 무엇일까?
당장 먹을 수 있는 신선한 음식과 깨끗한 물, 나의 안전을 지킬 수 있는 공간과 도구들, 숨겨진 동굴 속 한 가득 쌓여있는 숨겨진 보물들.. 음.. 글쎄 곧 반드시 구출 된다면 이 또한 좋겠다.

 

가치의 획일화, 이제는 저 미지에 숨겨진 폐쇄 문명을 찾기 어려울 것이고 가치의 정도 차이가 어느정도 있을 수 있지만, 대체로 어디에서나 크게는 다르지 않을 것 같다.

획일화의 변두리,
누구에게는 전혀 쓸모없는 것이 다른 누군가에게는 너무 소중한 것이 되기도 한다.
기억, 추억, 관계, 향수에 스며든 애정과 애착 심지어 증오와 환멸 따위가
가치에 변화를 만든다.
혹은 새로움이나 가능성 그리고 취향 따위가 가치에 대한 해석을 바꿔놓기도 한다.

사람,
나와 너, 이 사람, 저 친구, 그 누군가
사람에 대한 가치는 어떻게 매길수 있을까? 소유 재산의 정도? IQ나 EQ 등으로 수치와 된 잣대?
외적으로 보여지는 그 어떤 것들로?
솔직히 어느것 하나 부정할 수는 없을 것 같다. 가치의 획일화 사회에서 살고 있으니까.
하지만, 획일화의 시선에서 부족함이 있더라도
너와 나는,
나에게 그리고 너에게 또한 어떤 누군가에게
