자유롭게 파동을 일으키는 바다. 어린 시절 상상 속 아름다운 바다의 파도 위에 몸을 맡겨 항해하던 우리는 자유로웠을 거예요. 너무 늦게 깨달았어요. 자유로울 수 있었던 어린 시절이 저에게도 있었다는걸요.

 

저는 어쩔 수 없이 성숙한 척하며 어린 시절을 보냈고, 그렇게 20대가 되어 자유로워지고 또 성숙한 어른이 되어가고 있다고 믿었어요.저는 이제야 제가 성숙한 어른이 아니라는 것을 깨닫게 되었고, 어른이 아니면서 어른인 척하며 사는 데에는 두 가지 커다란 문제가 있다는 걸 알게 되었어요.

첫 번째로는 진정한 나를 찾을 수 없고 두 번째로는 진정한 '나'가 누구인지 모르기 때문에 제가 제 자신을 사랑하기가 너무 어렵다는 거예요. 이 노래를 만들며 진정한 '나'를 찾기 위한 노력, 그리고 제가 제 자신을 사랑할 수 있게 되길 바라는 제 마음이 담길 수 있게 많은 노력을 기울였습니다.
