 대한민국에서 활동하고 있는 미국 출신의 가수 에릭남 (Eric Nam)은. 2011년 MBC에서 방영한 오디션 프로그램 "스타 오디션 위대한 탄싱 시즌 2"에 참가해 이름을 알렸으며, 2013년 첫 EP [CLOUD 9]로 데뷔했다. 싱글 '우우', '놀여줘', '괜찮아 괜찮아'를 발표하면서 가수로서의 인지도를 높인 그는 내한 인터뷰어와 예능 활동으로 대중의 관심을 받기 시작했다.

 

2016년 3월에 발표한 레드벨벳 웬디와의 듀엣곡 '봄인가 봐'로 2016년 멜론 연간차트 76위에 오르는 등의 인기를 얻었으며 두 번째 EP [INTERVIEW]에서는 뛰어난 노래 실력과 감미로운 자작곡까지 담으면서 넓어진 음악적 스펙트럼을 보여주기도 했다.

2016년 7월 로꼬와 함께한 '못참겠어', 세계적인 프로듀서 Timbaland와 함께한 'BODY', Gallant, Tablo와의 'Cave Me In'로 장르를 넘어선 합작을 발표했으며 전소미와의 '유후', CHEEZE와 함께한 'Perhaps Love' 등에서 여성 아티스트들과 달달한 듀엣곡을 선보였다. 2018년 4월 세 번째 미니앨범 [Honestly]에서는 중독성 있는 팝, 라틴, 발라드, 어쿠스틱 등 장르를 가리지 않는 아티스트의 면모를 보여주었으며 전곡 작사, 작곡에 참여했다,
 
싱글 'Miss You', 'Runaway'에 작사, 작곡으로 참여하면서 아티스트적인 면모를 보여주었으며 2019년 첫 정규작 [Before We Begin]을 발매, 다양한 색채로 그린 사랑의 순간들을 담아냈다. 이어 겉으로 보기에는 행복해 보이는 누군가의 일상 뒷면을 노래한 [The Other Side]로 이면의 행복을 그렸고, 정규 2집 [There And Back Again]을 출시, 싱어송라이터 에릭남만의 음악을 오롯이 담아내며 커리어를 쌓아갔다.
