베이식-Flava (Feat. SUPERBEE)

베이식(Basick) 정규앨범[Foundation Vol. 4]

두 번째 정규앨범이 발매 된지도 5년이 흘렀다.

잠시 음악을 떠나 평범한 가장으로 살던 시기를 지나 '쇼미더머니우승자'라는 타이틀을 얻고 다시 복귀해 활발한 활동을 펼쳤던 그에겐 더욱 긴 시간이었다.

쇼미더머니는 많은 인기와 긍정적인 에너지를 가져다 주었지만 때로는 독이 되어 그를 옭아매는 족쇄였다.

이제 발매되는 그의 세 번째 정규 앨범 'Foundation Vol.4'는 적지 않은 마음고생과 음악적 고민을 겪던 이 시간이 담겨 있는 결과물이다.

반 년 가까이의 준비 기간을 거쳐 완성도를 높이기 위해 노력했고 무엇보다 본인의 감정을 솔직하게 표현하려했다. 앨범은 붐뱁부터 트랩에 이르기까지 다양한 장르로 구성되어있고 베테랑 뮤지션들과 더불어 재능 있는 신인 프로듀서들과아티스트들도 여럿 참여했다. ‘

 

그냥 하고 싶은거 했어요’라는 그의 말처럼 그가 하고 싶은 ‘랩 음악’들로 꽉꽉 채운 그의 세 번째 정규앨범을 기대해도 좋을것이다.

앨범의 첫번째 트랙으로 베이식이 다시"Foundation" 앨범을 작업하게 된 배경과 마음가짐을 풀어냈다.
