모 공대 연구실의 빌런 오도독스, 스쿨밴드 기타리스트 출신, 취미는 퇴근 후 깨작깨작 기타 만지는 일. 전염병이 기승을 부리던 2021년 여름 문득, 막연한 두려움에 힘입어 첫 노랫말을 끄적이기 시작했다.

 

협소한 인맥 탓에 의기투합할 사람은 없다. 혼자라도 아름아름 작업이 가능케 해준 현대 문명에 감사하며, 습작처럼 준비해본 첫 EP [Adolescence of Ododox music stuff]. 모든 것이 서툴던 자신의 청소년기를 보는 듯한 느낌에 알 수 없는 감동이 끼어들어, 음반 제목도 이같이 지었다.

인생은 파도라지만 어쩐지 힘든 상태가 훨씬 잦은 것 같다. “힘들면 일단은 웅크리고 좋은 때를 기다리자.”라는 메시지를 담은 음악. 별 수 없다. 막연한 기대라도 품고, 힘듦도 승화시켜야만 그나마 살아갈 수 있는 게 인간이다.
