미국에서 활동하는 팝, 일렉트로닉 싱어송라이터 Lauv (라우브)는 대학 시절 작곡가로 활동해 2014년 'The Other'를 발표하면서 가수로서의 본격적인 커리어를 시작했다.

 

R&B와 인디 팝 사운드의 곡은 발매 이후 주목을 받았고, 미니앨범 [Lost in the Light]를 발표했다. Cheat Codes와 Demi Lovato의 'No Promises'와 Charli XCX의 'Boys' 등을 작곡하면서 음악적 역량을 넓혔고 'I Like Me Better'로 빌보드 Hot 차트 27위, RIAA 기준 플래티넘을 기록했다.
