오스트레일리아의 래퍼 The Kid LAROI는 2018년 호주 라디오 방송에서 개최한 "Triple J Unearthed" 대회에서 결승까지 진출했으며 첫 싱글 'Blessings'으로 본격적인 활동을 시작했다.
또한 호주에 투어를 온 Juice WRLD와 함께 무대에 오르며 친해졌는데 The Kid LAROI의 첫 번째 정규작 [F*CK LOVE]의 타이틀곡 'GO'에 피처링으로, Juice WRLD의 사후 앨범 [Legends Never Die]의 'Hate The Other Side'에 서로 참여하며 남다른 애정을 내비치기도 했다.
정규작 [F*CK LOVE]는 빌보드 200 차트에서 3위를 기록하였으며 어린 나이에 비해 수준 높은 실력으로 미래가 기대되는 아티스트라 평가받았다.
