웅산-Diaspora 

세상에 따듯한 메세지를 전하고 싶어하는 5명의 아티스트의 울림. 이곡은 웅산이 ‘헤로니모’라는 전후석 감독의 영화를 보고 영감을 얻어 쓰게된 곡 이다.

 

이 가사는 “헤로니모”와 “초선”의 감독 전후석이 세계를 다니며 만난 여러 재외동포 한인들을 만나며 어렵게 현지에 정착한 이민 1세대들을 바라보는 후세대들의 시각을 담았다.

그들의 고통이 있었기에 디아스포라의 생명력이 이어졌고 지금 이 순간에도 편견과 차별에 맞서는 이주민들과 이방인들의 침묵과 고통으로 또 다른 아름다운 디아스포라가 탄생중이다.

우주의 영원함 속에 찰나같이 스쳐 지나가는 삶에서 내 것이라 주장할, 영원한 나만의 지리적 공간은 없을지도 모른다. 어쩌면 우리 모두는 디아스포라일 것이다.
