미국의 싱어송라이터 Jason Mraz (제이슨 므라즈)의 첫 앨범인 [Waiting for My Rockets to Come]은 2002년 발매되었다. 첫 싱글인 'The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)'는 유명한 프로듀싱팀 The Matrix와 공동 작곡한 곡으로, 빌보드 싱글 차트 15위까지 오르며 그의 첫 Top 20 히트곡이 되었다.
2005년, 두 번째 정규 앨범 [Mr. A-Z]를 발매해 앨범 차트 5위까지 오르며 달라진 그의 위상을 증명하였으나 결과적으로는 전작보다 못한 반응을 얻었으며, 싱글 역시 'Wordplay'가 잠시 주목받은 것 외에는 큰 성공을 거두지 못했다.
2008년에 발매된 세 번째 정규 앨범 [We Sing, We Dance, We Steal Things]는 차트 3위를 기록하며 미국 내에서만 2백만 장 가까운 판매고를 올린 히트작이 되었다. 특히 싱글 'I’m Yours'는 싱글 차트 6위까지 오르며 Jason Mraz 최초의 Top 10 히트곡이 되었고, 동시에 7백만 건 이상의 싱글 다운로드/판매를 기록할 정도로 많은 사랑을 받았다. 그 외에도 Colbie Caillat와 함께 한 'Lucky' 역시 전 세계적으로 좋은 반응을 얻었다.
4집 [Love Is a Four Letter Word](2012)는 'I’m Yours'에서 보여준 낭만적인 감성을 강화한 작품으로 빌보드 앨범 차트 2위로 데뷔하며 당시까지 발매한 그의 앨범 중 가장 높은 순위까지 올랐고 백만 장 가까운 판매고를 올렸다. 또한 싱글 'I Won’t Give Up'이 차트 8위를 기록하며 그의 두 번째 Top 10 히트곡이 되기도 했다. 2014년 7월 그는 다섯 번째 정규 앨범 [Yes!]은 앨범 차트 2위에 오르며 미국 판매량 40만 장에 이르렀고, 2020년에는 정규 7집 [Look For The Good]을 발매했다.
