MBC 창사 60주년 특별기획으로 야심차게 준비해 온 새 금토드라마 '검은 태양'(남궁민 박하선 출연, 박석호 극본, 김성용 연출)의 첫 번째 OST 'REASON'(요아리)이 시청자들의 뜨거운 기대 속에 출시된다.

 

'검은 태양'은 국정원 최고의 현장 요원이 자신을 나락으로 떨어뜨린 내부 배신자를 찾아내기 위해 조직으로 복귀하면서 벌어지는 이야기다. 신비하고 독특한 음색으로 요즘 한창 주가를 올리고 있는 요아리가 부른 'REASON'은 '검은 태양'의 메인 타이틀곡으로, 극중 한지혁이 배신자를 찾아내야만 하는 숙명적 이유와 그의 고독한 삶을 듬뿍 담고 있는 액션 느와르 느낌의 노래이다. 

매력적인 요아리의 보이스에 강한 비트와 고독한 멜로디, 그리고 시종일관 펼쳐지는 미스테리한 사운드의 무드는 듣는 이로 하여금 마치 드라마 속에 깊이 빠져드는 듯한 착각을 느끼게 할 정도로 드라마와 혼연일치가 된 곡이라는 평이다.
