새 달력이 집에 오는 새해 첫날이면, 어린 시절의 내가 항상 하던 일이 있었다. 열 장 넘겨 11월 나의 생일에 큰 동그라미를 치는 것.

 

별 장식과 리본, 스마일 등 온갖 좋아하는 것들로 가장 화려하게 장식하는 것. 그리곤 열 달 내내 그날만을 손꼽아 기다렸다. 그렇게 사랑하는 나의 달 11월을 자축하고 싶어서 만든 노래.

옛날의 그 마음을 되찾아 어른이 된 나에게 주고 싶어 만든 노래. 11월에 태어난 모든 사람에게 어린 시절 그 설렘을 선물하고 싶다. 또한 이 곡을 듣는 모두에게 11월의 특별함이 전달되기를 바라본다.
