미국의 싱어송라이터 Sasha Alex Sloan은 데뷔 전 Kygo의 'This Town'에 피처링으로 참여하며 이름을 알리기 시작해 2017년 데뷔 싱글 'Ready Yet'과 'Normal' 등으로 본격적인 활동을 펼쳤다.
2018년에는 두 장의 EP 앨범인 [sad girl]과 [Loser]를 발매해 유니크한 음색과 감성으로 자신의 음악 세계를 알려나갔고, 2020년 10월 첫 번째 스튜디오 앨범 [Only Child]를 발표해 본격적인 커리어를 시작했다.
