드레이크 (Drake)-Search & Rescue 

캐나다 태생의 힙합 뮤지션 Drake (드레이크)는  래퍼로서 활동을 시작했지만, 작곡가, 프로듀서, R&B 보컬과 배우까지 다재다능한 재능을 가진 아티스트이다. 2007년 공개한 믹스테잎의 'Replacement Girl'이 히트하면서 이름을 알리기 시작했고, 음악적 동료인 Noah '40' Shebib와 Lil Wayne을 만나게 된다.

 

2009년 세 번째 믹스테잎 [So Far Gone]를 발매하였고, 싱글 'Best I Ever Had'가 빌보드 싱글 차트 2위에 오르는 대 히트를 기록했다. 이 앨범으로 "그래미 어워드"에 노미네이트되었으며 Lil Wayne의 영머니와 계약을 체결한다.

2010년, 첫 정규작 [Thank Me Later]로 데뷔해 빌보드 200 차트 1위에 올랐고 RIAA 플래티넘 인증을 받으면서 일약 스타로 떠올랐다. 두 번째 정규 앨범 [Take Care]는 200만 장 이상이 판매되면서 그 해 "그래미 어워드"에서 최우수 랩 앨범상을 수상하는 영예를 안았다. 3집 [Nothing Was the Same] 역시 빌보드 200 차트 1위로 데뷔했으며 전 세계 여러 나라에서도 1위에 랭크되었다. 2015년에는 [If You're Reading This It's Too Late]와 믹스테잎 [What a Time to Be Alive] 두 앨범을 정상에 올려놓기도 했다.
 
네 번째 정규작 [Views]는 빌보드 차트 정상에서 10주 연속 자리를 지켰을 뿐만 아니라 독보적인 성적으로 2016년 "BET 힙합 어워드" 베스트 힙합 비디오 부문과 올해의 음반상을 수상했고, "제59회 그래미 어워드"에서 베스트 랩/송 퍼포먼스 부문과 베스트 랩/송상을 거머쥐었다. 2018년 5집 앨범 [Scorpion]을 통해 총 25트랙이라는 엄청난 작업량을 보여준 그는 이후에도 [Certified Lover Boy], [Honestly, Nevermind], [Her Loss] 등의 앨범을 꾸준히 공개했다.
