영국 출신의 싱어송라이터  Jacob Collier(제이콥 콜리어)는 어려서부터 음악에 재능을 보인 그는 2011년에 개인 유튜브 채널에 올린 커버 영상을 통해 다채로운 악기 편곡과 아름다운 화성을 선보여 전 세계의 주목을 받았다.

 

이후 각종 음악 페스티벌 무대에 올라 두터운 인지도를 쌓았고 2016년 첫 번째 스튜디오 앨범 [In My Room]으로 미국 컨템퍼러리 재즈 차트 1위에 올랐다. 2018년부터는 시리즈 앨범 [Djesse] 1, 2, 3집을 매해 발표했으며, "2019 그래미 어워드" 최고의 편곡, 악기 및 보컬 부문 포함 2개의 상을 거머쥐었다. 

이후 두 장의 EP [Jacobean Essentials], [Jacobean Chill]과 라이브 앨범 [Piano Ballads (Live From The Djesse World Tour 2022)] 등으로 커리어를 이어나가고 있다.
