Sinso (신소)-Sinking Islands 

사랑의 반대편이라 생각했던 이별은 사랑의 종착지로 마주하게 돼요. Sinking Islands는 Egon Schiele의 Lovers(1913)에서 영감을 받아 시작되었어요.

 

Egon Schiele와 그의 연인 Wally Neuzil. 그 둘의 끝을 알아서인지, 그림에서 더 많은 서사가 느껴졌죠. 작품에 그려진 색과 어울리는 앤틱한 악기들로 연주해 무드를 만들고, 쓸쓸하게 그려진 눈빛을 보며 가사와 멜로디를 썼습니다.

이 곡은 이별을 담고 있지만 담담하게 표현했어요. 마치 100년전 과거의 이별과 마주한 것처럼…
