루엘 (Ruel)-I DON'T WANNA BE LIKE YOU

호주 출신의 싱어송라이터 Ruel (루엘)은 2015년 James Bay의 'Let It Go'를 부르는 데모를 프로듀서 M-Phazes에게 보냈고 2017년 봄, M-Phazes와 함께한 싱글 'Golden Years'로 커리어를 시작했다.

 

그 해 7월, 두 번째 싱글 'Don't Tell Me'를 공개해 ARIA 차트 86위에 오르는 성과를 거두었으며 싱글 'Dazed & Confused'로 "2018 ARIA Music Awards"의 신인 아티스트상을 수상했다. 2018년 6월 그만의 소울풀한 감성을 드러낸 첫 미니 앨범 [Ready] 발표해 리스너들의 마음을 두드렸고 이듬해 첫 단독 내한 공연으로 국내 팬들과 마주했다.

2019년 수준급의 작사, 작곡 실력을 뽐낸 두 번째 EP [Free Time]을 공개했으며 이듬해 음악적 역량의 성장을 보여준 EP [Bright Lights, Red Eyes]로 활동을 이어갔다. 이후 싱글 'Too Many Feelings', 'LET THE GRASS GROW', 'MUST BE NICE' 등을 선보였다.
