넷플릭스 오리지널 시리즈 ‘경성크리처 OST’ 앨범에는 타이틀곡 ‘FOREVER’과 함께 ‘Time’의 두 가지 버전을 담아 드라마만큼이나 매력있는 OST곡들을 선보인다. 타이틀곡 수호(SUHO)의 ‘FOREVER’는 신스팝(Synthpop)기반의 업템포 댄스 장르로 신디사이저 선율에 키치한 팝 사운드를 더한 곡이다.

 

‘FOREVER’는 신디사이저의 리프와 더불어 드럼, 베이스, 다채로운 Fx(에프엑스) 사운드로 리드미컬한 곡의 흐름으로 어두운 듯하면서도 경쾌한 멜로디가 한층 매력적으로 다가온다. 또한 다가올 사건들에 대하여 긴박하면서도 두근거리는 감정을 담은 이 곡은, 성숙미와 소년미가 교차하는 수호(SUHO)의 음색으로 표현됨으로써 극에 새로운 원동력을 더해냈다.

두 번째와 세 번째 트랙에 자리한 ‘Time’은 드라마에서 묻어나는 쓸쓸함을 배가하며 서정적인 감동을 선사한다. 백아의 ‘Time’은 잔잔한 피아노가 기반으로 된 클래식컬한 편곡을 중점으로 후반부에서 점진적으로 묵직해지는 타악기 연주가 맑고 아련한 백아의 목소리를 더욱 돋보이게 하였다. 또한 몽환적인 기타 리프와 스트링 패드는 곡의 몰입감을 더한다. 반면 ‘Time (Elec. Ver.)’은 백아가 부른 원곡과는 다른 느낌을 전달하기 위해 아날로그 신디사이저와 모듈러신스(Modular Synth)를 사용하여 세련되고 드라마틱하게 풀어냈다. 이에 LEAFY(리피)만의 감성적 보컬을 담으며 곡의 분위기와 함께 노래에 깊이 빠져들게 한다.
